TERRORISTS are set to exploit the shambolic Turkey visa deal to launch devastating attacks on European countries, EU leaders have warned.
Jihadis are expected to seek Turkish passports in order to reach the continent without visas as soon as possible, according to a chilling European Commission report.
The contentious deal will see Turkey’s 75 million citizens given the right to enter the Schengen zone for up to 90 days at a time.
Turkey will take on migrants from Europe as part of the EU deal, which has been condemned by anti-Brussels campaigners.
But the European Commission report has acknowledged that “increased mobility into the Schengen area of criminals and terrorists who are citizens of Turkey, or who are foreigners based in Turkey.”
The report adds: “The proposed visa liberalisation for Turkish citizens travelling to the EU could potentially have an impact on the terrorist risk in the EU in as far as the movement of terrorists of Turkish citizenship to and from the Schengen area is concerned.”
Turkish mafia territory is also expect to expand “towards the EU” as a result of the deal.
The report said: “Suspect individuals being allowed to travel to the Schengen territory without the need to go through a visa request procedure would have a greater ability to enter the EU without being noticed.”
The commission has also called for visa-free travel deals with Kosovo, Ukraine and Georgia.
Kosovo has produced up to 300 fighters in Syria and Iraq – the highest per capita rate in Europe – according to a separate report and revealed their government is not equipped to intercept terrorists.
It said: “Visa liberalisation could also have an impact on undetected entry into the EU of persons from Kosovo who return from war zones where they had joined terrorist networks.”
The terrifying warning comes as former MI6 Sir Richard Dearlove claimed the continent is facing a “populist uprising” amid growing anger from voters who feel they have been betrayed by political elites in London, Paris, Berlin and Brussels.
The retired spy chief warned the mass migration to Europe could spark a terrifying spiral of events ending in bloody uprising against leaders across the West.
